The chain is rose gold plated over brass. Always remove during bathing, swimming etc. Do not get lotions, potions or perfumes on your piece.
Some people's skin doea react to various metals & may go green. This is simply the ph balance of your skin & not an indication of poor quality.

All of these metals can, on occasion, turn the skin a little green where the jewellery sits. This, especially with copper & silver, is nothing to do with the jewellery but your skins tolerance to the metal. Silver does contain traces of copper.
